Current• Legal & Risk Analysis: review contract language for company compliance, risk, legal ramifications, business advantage/disadvantage and feasibility, compliance with federal, state or municipal regulations, contract accuracy, consistency and completeness, comparison to related contracts and templates. Preparation & dissemination of analysis results, supporting documentation, and written and verbal recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.• Legal Writing: creation of viable legal documents, including amendments, contract provisions and modifications to existing contract provisions, purchase orders, consideration letters, clarification letters, RFIs, etc. Maintenance of company-specified hierarchal approval/decision-making matrix and protocols for prep and management of a variety of contract documents. • Document Management: Preparation, compilation, tracking and administration of ancillary contract documentation such as: Bonds; Easements and Allowances, Insurance Documentation for US & Puerto Rican contracts and US licensing; Preliminary Lien Notices, Contract Notes & Addendums, Contract Exhibits and Attachments, Formal Opinions from in-house counsel, Risk, and HR • Process improvement: Compilation, review and analysis of contract statistics, reports and workload. Generation of monthly reports and similar key contract metrics for tracking progress & performance. Preparation and maintenance of logging systems. Identification of work-flow strengths and weaknesses to provide innovative, sound recommendations for continuous process improvement. • Communication: Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders in all divisions of company; Provision of continuous education to internal clients as subject matter expert and informational resource; Training and mentoring of peers, demonstration of role-model behaviors in ethics and integrity; Positively promote company core-values
