As a first generation college graduate I really did not have a clue where in business I wanted to be career wise. With the role model of my hard working mother and my early career experiences being in customer service and small business leadership; I knew I wanted a position leading and working with people all over the world. Like so many others, I changed majors several times before landing with business management. I had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of leadership roles in organizations like Delta Sigma Pi and the student Executive Council that helped me learn so much about many different career opportunities. A year after my college life was finished, I found myself in logistics, not really sure what to expect other than wanting to learn how to do the very best I could and learn the ins and outs of this crazy industry. Luckily enough I fell into pace quickly and learned how much I enjoyed it! Since then I have continued my carrier in transportation leading me into my current role as Transportation Manager for Cosentino North America. My long term goals are to return to graduate school and complete an MBA in Organizational Leadership and to obtain certification in SCM, Lean Six Sigma and CCS. In my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, and refurbishing furniture. I am also often spending time with my family or two fur babies(cats) on the weekends I'm not working.I look forward to connecting with you!
