Wanda is currently the Director, Business Systems Modernization in the Wage & Investment (W&I) Division. In this position she provides executive leadership and direction in the development, and delivery of the business systems of the W&I Division. Additionally, she is responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of modernization efforts in the W&I Division are coordinated in partnership with the Division functional directors and Information Technology executives. Prior to this assignment, Wanda served as Director, Service Planning and Improvement within User and Network Services in Information Technologies (IT). She previously has also served as Director, Delivery Management and Quality Assurance Organization, Applications Development within IT and as the Senior Advisor, Legislative Implementation Organization, Affordable Care Act (ACA), Program Management Office (PMO) within IT. Wanda joined IRS in 2005 with a strong background and knowledge of quality management concepts to include experience with requirements and configuration management, systems testing, quality assurance. Prior to joining IRS, she held various leadership positions with Electronic Data Systems, Government Services Division, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon. Wanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Virginia State University. She is the mother of 4 young adults and resides in Bowie, Maryland with her husband.
