Checked in voters, supervised election staff at poll. Posted signs around polling place explaining rules to voters. At 8:00 pm closed polls, counted up the ballots voted and tabulated the numbers before breaking the whole assembly down and returning to election central at a high school nearby.

Primarily involved with starting up the Welfare To Work Program which was a federally funded program designed to get single mothers off Aid For Families With Dependent Children and back into the workforce since Welfare as we know it was supposed to end in three years. My responsibilities were to campus the west San Gabriel Valley businesses to see if I could find employers willing to give these unskilled single mothers a chance to earn some work experience that my company would in turn pay the employers to pay them for. This program was a wash because we were paying these women $6/hr and the babysitters were charging these women $8/hr to sit with their children while they obtained work experience. It was such a low turnout that the program folded shortly after it inception.

Taught job club and assisted in placing severely disabled consumers of who were referred to me through the California Department of Rehabilitation's field offices at: El Monte, Lincoln Heights, Bell, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Santa Ana, and Anaheim into successful employment whereby ending their need for services from the state any longer in some instances. This involved employer networking in these communities, public speaking at numerous service club organizations such as chamber of commerce, Lions, Rotary, and Kiwanis clubs.

Held a variety of different positions within the library including technical services, bindery and map room. In the Learning Resources I inventoried parts and equipment, completed semester loans, delivery, set up, repair and retrieval of equipment to and from classrooms or lecture halls. Instructed students and faculty in the use of various equipment such as overhead projectors. Cleaned and assisted other technicians with repair and maintenance as needed.

Employed by these companies within given time frame as the patient man in the back of the ambulance caring for ill or injured while en route to medical facilities. Assisted fire department paramedics, firefightrs and law enforcement personnel on scene to ease the difficulty with circumstances as presented. Performed CPR and childbirth. Taught CPR.
