Unico Properties | May 2016 - September 2016I was in charge of all payroll-related duties while the permanent payroll specialist was on Leave. This included processing biweekly payroll and associated tasks. Employees were located in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado, and some were Union. I did the payroll bank reconciliation, prepared the Payroll payables, and posted the benefits payables in Yardi. I occasionally assisted the Payroll & Benefits Manager with benefits maintenance and bill reconciliation.Wireless Advocates/CarToys | March 2015 - May 2016I was a part of a team that was implementing a new version of ADP while still processing biweekly payroll in a timely manner. In all, there were nearly 4,000 employees, and I "owned" a region from start to finish, and also had other duties that were a part of the payroll process. These varied over time as staff and needs shifted, but at some point I have handled all 50 states (more extensively states from Idaho to Texas and westward), and manual processing of employee changes, pay adjustments, PTO, and time & attendance maintenance. Considerable prep is needed before information is organized and ready for the tax practitioner, and I was that step between the client and principal tax preparer. I completed data entry, bookkeeping, payroll, and other projects as needed.

Team ABC is the Support Headquarters for several Subway, Del Taco, Jamba Juice, and Denny's restaurants in California. It was a small office where responsibilities shifted and everyone wore multiple hats.One of my main responsibilities was payroll, mainly for Subway and the field and office staff, but I also served as backup for the other concepts. Peachtree and ADP Run were used. Duties included tracking hours and meal break compliance, EDD reporting, wage garnishments, and government incentive forms.Another main responsibility was accounts verification (COS) and bank reconciliation (cash, credit sales). In addition, I prepared owner reports, recorded sale/purchase of stores, did AP/AR, expense reports, and trained assistants and colleagues.

CS Tomasi is a boutique financial services firm that offers bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation.My primary focus was payroll, and all that it entails, including making tax deposits, preparing quarterly and annual wage reporting, W-2's and 1099's, and partnering with the client on any questions they may have. I have also onboarded new clients from other providers such as Paychex.
