I Led a team in developing advanced analytical reports and dashboards for end user viewing. These tools reduced at least $40 million in long lead funding exposure. The primary tool for this was SAP Business Objects using SAP HANA and SQL for the data, as well as R for statistical analysis. This led to applications such as:-which parts and vendors are unlikely to deliver on time?-which parts have adequate supply to cover both discrete and unknown demand over various time periods?-which manufacturing areas present bottlenecks depending on customer demand and varying labor profiles?-what is the overall span (procurement through assembly and delivery) for various parts and what are the longest lead parts?

OLDP consists of four 6 month rotations in diverse fields to gain baseline knowledge of different functional areas. It is supplemented with approximately 6 weeks of training including:-Earned Value Management-Applied Lean Manufacturing (Green Belt Certified)-Crucial Conversations-Project Management-Communication and Presentation SkillsThe rotations I have experienced are:Supplier Quality Engineer- Ensuring suppliers are performing critical processes (heat treat, chemical film, non destructive testing) in line with industry and company standardsSubcontract Management- Management of approximately $3 million in parts from suppliers and negotiating contracts, prices, quantities, terms and conditions, and ensuring on time delivery and quality of those parts.Flight Test Supervisor- Direct supervision of 15 mechanics responsible for machining and fabricating parts needed for various flight test programs.
