My duties include credit card data handling, troubleshooting and helpdesk activities for credit card payment terminals and software, ensuring transactions are transferred to the correct banks. I work nights every 2 in 4 weekends which involves a lot of complex data transfers. This role holds a lot of responsibility as well as a high level of concentration due to data protection and security. I have developed excellent communication skills which I use to form strong customer relations; this forms an essential part of my role as I need to meet their demands and needs in a methodical and professional manner. I am the client advocate for several major accounts within the business and I hold overall responsibility for these customers. One of my key roles is to train colleagues to the highest level in all aspects of my departments' functions.

Responsibilities included Profit and Loss reporting and day to day management, cash and bank reconciliation, recruitment and training of staff, duty rotas, time sheets and looking after the presentation and merchandising of the store. Controlling the profit margins and purchasing of the pre-owned stock whilst adhering to the company guidelines and being able to make on the spot decisions.

Based in Southsea, Portsmouth although worked in multiple locations across the South of EnglandDuties included staffing responsibilities from HR to rotas, cash handling, and day to day running of the store, stock control and general managerial duties. I had to deal with product promotion and demonstrations to the public I had to have good product knowledge and understanding of the end user.

Duties included assisting the department manager of all aspects of the day to day running of the department including staff rotas, stock control, and staff training. Included in this period I was the night shift replenishment manager for 9 months, I led a team of staff, and was completely responsible for the entire store and overnight.

In this position I was tasked with co running the store due to the long opening hours. Whilst also being responsible for all stock control, store security, staff recruitment and discipline, staff rotas, training management and cash control/banking on a daily basis.
