To build, configure and maintain highly available Remote Desktop Services environments serving up business applications.To develop, maintain and troubleshooting network issues as and when they arise.To deploy software updates to various bespoke internal systems, ranging but not limited to, website deployments and UI deployments.To build, configure, test and troubleshoot SQL Servers, both standalone & highly available setups.To plan, build, test and implement server migrations to ensure the business is using the latest available technologies that adhere to company guidelines, GDPR & ISO compliance.To support a company based in Florida with issues that arise, both remotely and with yearly visits for maintenance and upgrades.Provide a technical lead in the business' disaster recovery area, expanding and constantly reviewing procedures within Veeam Backup & Replication as well as working with HPE Tape Libraries.Using the latest monitoring tools to ensure proactive infrastructure monitoring, ensuring a maximum uptime of all business critical systems.Providing 24/7 out of hours support to all internal and external infrastructure systems on a 1 week in 3 rota.Configuration and maintenance on core storage infrastructure.Configuration and troubleshooting on all network infrastructure, including, but not limited to, HPE / Aruba switching, firewalls and load balancers.Identifying automation opportunities and providing solutions to ensure automation through the use of scripting technologies, including, but not limited to, PowerShell, Python & SQL.
