Led the Nuclear Apprenticeship Academy, achieving Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding and Beacon Status.Achieved SEMTA Skills Training Provider of the Year 2014 and 2016.Programme won Nuclear Skills Training Award.Team Member awarded SEMTA Skills Champion of the Year 2015.My role at the Academy was to lead the training delivery element of the nuclear apprentice programme and using a systematic approach maintain the currency of the programme to meet the evolving needs of the customer and the regulatory bodies. Responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of all training for customers within a highly regulated industry to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures relating to Babcock, the customer and the delivery team. Accreditation of the training and maintaining quality assured provider status with professional bodies and management of the relationships with the National Skills Academy.Developing the delivery strategy for the two year programme to ensure that the learners journey and development mirrored their expectation and the expectation of their company.Line management of the 28 personnel within the Technical Delivery Team and Life Skills team, including CPD, PDR’s and professional formation. Responsible for developing and maintaining the client relationships.Supporting bid writing teams with the development of technical delivery solutions and implementing them on successful award of the contract.
