Heat exchanges,vessels,columns,ferneses, pumps and reactors.working close to superintendens and supervisors to solve problms on all equipment and to give guide lines accordingly to the sans,BS and SB standards .

Compiling of work packs for my scope of work - Columns and vessels, Challenging CUI scope and tech scope.  Confirming operations spading points, flange sizes and steam out points.  Attending daily production meetings & making sure deadlines are adhere to according to schedule. In addition assuring my crews of scaffolders, riggers, boilermakers, pipe fitters,welders, crane drivers, truck drivers and QC inspectors were working according to the quality and safety standards of SAPREF.

Attending handover meetings and progress meetings for nightshift and perform duties as per handover. Working on the regenerator dome and associated Plenum, Primary, Secondary cyclones, Purge pipes, Air grid and overhead flue duct line replacement.  Making sure that all necessary NDE are done, before and after welding according to ASME V & accepting criteria to VIII DIV 1.

In addition assuring crew of two mechanical supervisors, one piping supervisor, twelve foreman’s, sixteen pipefitters, twenty-four mechanical fitters, twenty safety watchers, eight scaffolding crews and six HP jetting crews were working according to the quality and safety standards of ENGEN.

 Plan & prep for 2011 turn around.  Scoping and allocating CUI (corrosion under insulation) piping.  Attending daily production meetings & making sure that my crew work according to quality and safety standards of SAPREF.

 Overseeing all contractors on site

 Supervision of all mechanical piping works and ensured safety and quality standards of the client were adhered to. Inspected work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and standards and that piping schedules were adhered to.  Examined workmanship in the piping (as well as mechanical/welding) works to ensure conformity to standards and specifications.

 Supervised and coordinated all structural and mechanical piping activities, utilizing exemplary expertise in the application of systematic and scientific work methods, standards and procedures. Supervised the subcontractor’s scope of works engaged in the piping works to ensure that quality output was completed on schedule and to the acceptable standards and required specifications.

Started the project from structural to completion, overseeing contractors. Liaised with subcontractors based on constructive planning skills while maintaining appropriate cost, time, and quality of work. Charged with the responsibility of all safe work execution.

Supervision of all piping works and ensured safety and quality standards of the client were adhered to. Staff complement consisted of foremen; pipe fitters, welders and semi-skilled staff. Ensured that staff performed all tasks assigned to them, making sure that work was performed to standard. Made sure that my crew worked according to quality and safety standards of Mossgass. Inspection and approval of all the QA/QC submittals of the subcontractor.
