SEG is currently looking for Project Managers, CAD designers (autocad 2d) and Mechanical/Chemical engineers with semiconductor/pharmaceutical experience. A brief description of the positions are as follows:PMProject manager managing construction projects in a high tech environment. Duties include managing construction projects from start to finish, participating in the design review process and providing technical input on the design. The PM is responsible for generating the scope of work for all trades including generating the construction schedule in concert with the customer. The PM is responsible for completion of task specific documents. Documents are generally generated and approved by the client but filled out by the PM. The PM is responsible for maintaining the budget for the project, issuing purchase requisitions for the work to be done (to be approved by the client), overseeing the work in the field, resolving conflicts in the field, coordinating inspections by the city, EHS and the end users as well as meeting the schedule requirements. CAD drafter/designerDrafter/Designer with solid knowledge of all aspects of AutoCAD. Candidate must be well organized and able to effectively work on multiple projects with different engineering personnel in support of industrial facilities designs and construction documents. The position requires development of preliminary design documents based on technical information provided by the engineer, equipment vendor/supplier or client. Candidate should be able to generate P&ID’s, equipment layout and utility routing drawings for all engineering disciplines with minimal input from project engineer.Mechanical/Process Engineer Professional Mechanical/Process Engineer with a strong background in pharmaceutical, semiconductor and related industries. Must have a valid CA stamp. Candidate will: 1) possess solid mechanical/process engineering knowledge for the analysis, design and specification of industrial facilities projects, 2) generate construction drawings and specs for new facilities, existing facility upgrades and related infrastructure, and process equipment installation, 3) perform building and fire code related calculations, undertake master planning and high-level feasibility analysis, 4) have good knowledge of all federal and CA state codes, and local (SF bay area) ordinances. Candidate will be capable of resolving various complex problems, including conflicts with design, specification of components/materials, inter-design coordination, etc.
