Reliability Coordinator
CurrentNERC certified. Responsibilities include monitoring the interconnected transmission system within the ENTERGY footprint and taking appropriate action as dictated by system conditions. Monitor the collection of real-time and other reliability operating information submitted by other operating entities as required per regional criteria, NERC reliability standards and NERC operating policies. Notify and work with control areas in determining appropriate control action during conditions where system reliability is threatened. Monitor bulk transmission equipment maintenance/outage schedules. Initiating time error corrections and GMD notifications. Monitor and coordinate implementation of Transmission Line Loading Relief Criteria. Determine and initiate the proper emergency action as well as notify and communicate with other entities and SPP Staff in accordance with regional and NERC procedures.
