Wayne is a certified and experienced chief sUAS pilot who works for Blue Ridge Mountain Drones, a company that provides drone services for various purposes, such as search and rescue, storm damage assessment, and real estate aerial video and photography. He has over five years of experience in leading and performing these services, as well as teaching students to become commercial or government sUAS pilots.He holds an Executive Fire Officer (EFO) degree from the National Fire Academy, a Chief Training Officer (CTO) designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence, and a Part 107 sUAS remote license from the FAA. He is also a member of the FAAST team and the FAA Drone Pro program, and a public safety liaison for the drone industry. Wayne is passionate about using drones to enhance public safety, protect the environment, and support the community.
