Wayne Snyder is a Manager in the Technology Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He is based in the Detroit, Michigan office and is part of the Technology Strategy & Transformation practice. His certifications include Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Connected Vehicle Professional (CVP).Wayne has helped EY clients address some of their biggest challenges through transformation in the areas of IT software and hardware asset management, IT service management, operating and governance models, IT policies standards & procedures, rationalizing the software application portfolio, and driving program management office collaboration.Prior to joining EY, Wayne worked for a professional services nonprofit organization as a technical program manager for nine years in energy and transportation and 10 years in Information Technology. During his time in the nonprofit sector, he advised global start-ups and innovation teams through public private partnerships to deploy next generation emerging technologies, such as: Internet of Things, high performance computing, unmanned aerial vehicles, automated ground vehicles, smart charging infrastructure and smart grid integration. Wayne was also instrumental in leading the assessment, recommendation and rollout of strategic IT initiatives such as hybrid on-premise/cloud network architecture, workforce collaboration and productivity tools, and Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud platforms including Salesforce customer relationship management and Smartsheet project management.Wayne's past volunteering experiences include roles as an advisor, coach and mentor to educational organizations such as Michigan's Merit Network and the Engineering Society of Detroit FutureCity Program. He is interested in further supporting youth education and application of science and technology.
