Supply Chain Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst
CurrentOur three-person team of analysts is in the process of transitioning roughly 30 medium and large scale distributors into an upgraded database system employing the latest technologies in database design, data transformations, data pipelines, and their associated reporting systems. In addition to these tasks, I am solely responsible for the forecast accuracy reporting across all clients. This recurring task requires multi-level analyses customized on a client-by-client basis to summarize their demand forecasting output aggregated and organized to the client's specific SKU categorization methods.Day-to-day activities involve building DTSX packages for data ingestion, creating data pipelines between client servers and data lakes, running DBT SQL models against the datalakes, writing stored procedures in SSMS and MySQL related to supply chain systems (forecasting, replenishment, demand planning). The end of these projects culminate in the design and release of Power BI reports and dashboards summarizing and emphasizing specific segments of each client's inventory and business processes. Given that our average client handles 500,000 records, all SQL scripts and DBT models are written with advanced SQL knowledge to maximize efficiency and reduce system processing time.In the last 6 months, our three man team has created 27 data pipelines, passing billions of records through nearly 100 unique DBT models to accurately summarize and present reporting systems to our clients. The annual sum of goods sold represented by our systems is roughly $300 million USD.
