I love building great customer experiences. Developing experiences that connect people to their own moment of awe draws upon my full range of experiences. Technology done well can enhance high touch, relational experiences. It can also provide a wealth of data to fine-tune business models and better meet the customer’s desires. My experiences also help build cross-functional teams that aid the design process. My analytical design methodology and aptitude for technology led me to an engineering degree. I also invested in an MBA to extend beyond engineering while strengthening my financial and business management skills. While developing these technical skills I also found myself compelled to share my passions with others. Organizing adventures into the outdoors for groups of people who had never experienced nature through backpacking turned from hobby to vocational side pursuit. I partnered with True Adventures to operationalize these trips in a volunteer organization. Much like a comedian gets a thrill out of that first laugh, I got hooked on sharing that moment of awe when a person discovers a new experience or new understanding. Hearing from multiple perspectives builds operational models that address the fullness of a customer’s senses and experience.
