After founding, operating for 13+ years, and exiting a successful and profitable service based small business, I re-entered the workplace with a desire to join a team of skilled software trainers and be a part of, what at the time was, my dream SaaS company. I had been entrenched in their ecosystem for almost 7 years before I moved my family to Texas to work there and I arrived day 1 with friends and colleagues that I had known for what seemed like forever. I quickly made my impact felt, completing both my assigned tasks as well as reaching out for more responsibilities any chance I could. I was quickly promoted to a people leader position after less than a year with the company. My new role also made it possible to get my Professional Scrum Master Certification, my Product-Led Certification, and to use Pendo pretty much every day. I became a champion of the in-app guides, resource center, NPS Score, data analytics, as well as other features working with our Product Managers and Product Team directly to help shape the growth of our software.
