I developed the corporate social media accounts for Exeter City Council taking the Twitter account to over 11,000 followers. Only a couple of district councils in the entire country had more followers, which I'm very proud of.I also ran consultations on a wide range of topics such as refuse collection, the council budget & taxi licensing. I designed and built surveys, ran focus groups, set up public meetings, organised large events and wrote reports for senior management & councillors.Working as part of the corporate Comms Team I dealt with press enquiries, set up photo opportunities, wrote press releases and promoted Council activities via social media.
