I am an experienced clinician, teacher and researcher into music therapy and its applications to a wide range of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, disorders of consciousness, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease and Parkinson's Disease. Other research interests include therapeutic applications of new and emerging music technologies in health and education, and measurement issues in complex disability.I have published widely in international, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journals on a range of topics, including being a Cochrane reviewer. My published edited book Music Technology in Therapeutic and Health Settings is available from Jessica Kingsley Publishers.I seek collaborators from health, medicine and the sciences who are interested in research the effect of music on health, with a particular focus on neurology and technology.
