About Wendy (Fee) Nichols
I’m proactive, organized, and flexible, but what drives me the most is a desire to do my very best every day for others. Whether it’s for my boss or one of our reps, if I can go above and beyond and do something impossible for someone else, that makes my day. I’ve been with Delta Faucet Company over 27 years, and in this specific role for ten. I’m the liaison between brands and vendors, making sure display systems are built in time and under budget. I work with wholesale customers and manage approximately 1,200 showrooms that our rep agencies visit. None of them are the same – they all have different footprints, displays and planograms – and I make sure they have what is needed.I appreciate working for a company that goes above and beyond to make sure employees feel happy and can do their jobs in a safe environment. My current team is amazing - all of them have been - and I have strengthened my skills and grown as a result of so many positive work experiences. Those who know me well are not surprised to find out that outside of work, I rarely stop and sit down - I’m always busy doing other things, like working in the yard or watching the sunset from the back porch. I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and doing things like canoeing, gardening, working out or wine tasting. Having recently built a new house on a river with plenty of space, we built a greenhouse together and also set up space for axe throwing and bow and arrow target practice. I also love to read, work on house projects and take our dog on walks. My parents were good role models and very hard workers, and so I was brought up with a solid work ethic. Over the years that has served me well, and I’ve learned that whether it’s in life or work, you never know what you’re going to get hit with. There are always going to be challenges, but I’ve become skilled at pivoting to fix issues and find solutions.
