Represented the District in junior level duties involved with development, property management, and administration.• Coordinated development and property management program activities with multiple stakeholders to ensure agreement and beneficial outcomes for the San Diego Unified Port District. • Reviewed, interpreted, and applied laws, regulations, ordinances, and policies applicable to the District with tenants along Coronado, Harbor Island, and Shelter Island. • Communicated and responded to tenant and developer needs and expectations in a professional and timely manner. • Prepared comprehensive reports, researched feasibility studies, and reviewed financial pro forma for erosion control project on Shelter Island. • Prepared legal property descriptions, lease agreements, and contracts to complete Temporary Use and Occupancy Permits. • Managed a real estate portfolio of waterfront tenants along Coronado, Harbor Island, and Shelter Island. • Worked closely with other Asset Managers, internal departments, and external public agencies on development and capital projects. • Acted as liaison and central point of contact for tenants through the entire lease process. Effectively interacted with customers and staff at all levels of an organization to resolve variances. • Interacted with partnering regulatory agencies including State Lands Commission and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). • Created Dock and Dine policy in collaboration with District staff, Harbor Police, and San Diego Port Tenant Association with direction from Board of Port Commissioners. • Was selected as real estate representative on the Port’s green initiative including alternative fuel program and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).
