Wendy has over 3 decades of clinical & educational experience in the specialty of skin integrity and wound prevention & management with now 16 years+ of independent private practice as Founder / Director of Wendy White WoundCare and subdivisions-TALKING WOUNDS with Wendy White & the WOUNDed Learning Centre. In 2024 The CHANGE Agents Legacy Membership goes live - professional development REIMAGINED!She is considered an inspirational leader and a respected speaker / facilitator presenting at regional, state, national and international wound conferences, symposiums, workshops and educational events.She is an invited expert on local and international committees and advisory groups, and has contributed to the development of international consensus documents relating to minimising wound related pain, optimising wellbeing, advocacy and engagement for and with those living with wounds. From 2022, she has participated in both advisory and publication development focused on hard-to-heal wound prevention and standard of care recommendations for the non-specialist.Maintaining skin integrity, minimising acute injury, improving clinical outcomes and improving the quality of lives lived for those with wounds is her passion. Advancing practice and care delivery of others through knowledge updates and new skills acquisition training is her focus.This relates to a wide range of settings, disciplines, clinical need and topics including wound debridement theory and hands on practicums.
