Turning their memories into memoirs gives them a chance to communicate with generations not yet born.I offer two approaches.1. Writing partner: I help you write. At the heart of A Fund for Women's mission to transform Dane County so that all women and girls thrive are two basic activities: fundraising and grantmaking. Since 1993, when a visionary group of original donors raised $100,000 to start an endowment fund, A Fund for Women has awarded some 125 grants totaling more than $1.3 million to nonprofit programs and initiatives. For two terms I led the Board of Directors of the Association of Personal Historians, an international organization of skilled professionals passionate about preserving life stories. I previously served as Marketing Director, Regions Director, and Nominations Director, filling board seats for most of the period from 2004-2015.

I developed comprehensive curricula for online training and workbooks for credit union staff and managers, sometimes drawing on my own expertise and other times working with subject matter experts (SMEs).
