Board certified and licensed nurse practitioner in the state of Florida. In my career as a registered nurse, I worked predominately in the emergency room at the University of Kansas Hospital, I eventually moved on to become a travel nurse in emergency rooms across the country. I went back to school in 2016 to obtain my master's degree in nursing. My first job as an ARNP was as the sole medical nurse practitioner in a 50-bed inpatient drug and alcohol detox facility. I am currently working with the Hanley Foundation in our West Palm Beach facility. We provide medical care to patients during each stage of their treatment program, including detox, residential, and PHP levels of care. In my role, I am responsible for managing our patients medical needs while they are acutely detoxing as well as in the post acute withdrawal phase. I am also trained and certified in neurotoxins and fillers and have been trained by some of the best injectors in the country. I am passionate about holistic health, high quality service, education, and making the lives of each and every patient I meet a little brighter.

This required both nurses to be very skilled at procedures such as starting IV’s, inserting catheters, making soft splints, etc. If a truly emergency situation arose, such as a patient in a lethal cardiac rhythm, we would have to use whatever resources we had to stabilize the patient and transport them. We had to work with limited resources and staff and be at the top of our game at all times to ensure the highest level of care and safety was given to every patient that walked through our doors. Patient satisfaction and safety was always our top priority. Show less -
