Current-Assess content for manuscripts, continuing professional education, major programs, magazines, newsletters, and accounting and financial industry educational products. Perform product evaluations to identify weaknesses, advantages, and possibility for enhancement.-Confirm organization and structure of content is consistent with product goals. Restructure, reorganize, and rewrite content to ensure flow, readability, and alignment with pedagogy for competency and learning products. When necessary, adapt content for a global audience.-Collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, technical managers, content specialists, project managers, graphic designers, learning experience designers, instructional designers, and portfolio leaders to evaluate, create, edit, and revise content for various products.-Review, create, develop, and revise Microsoft PowerPoint presentations from manuscripts and instructor design notes. Prepare presentations for learning design team and adhere to branding requirements. -Facilitate and manage the creation of third-party content logs in order to note items that need reprint permissions and request necessary permissions. Perform plagiarism reviews of content and remediate plagiarism and copyright issues.-Attend and participate in blueprinting sessions for products. Work with project teams, portfolio leaders, authors, and subject matter experts to determine product goals, expectations, audience, schedules, and content needed.-Review editorial changes, when necessary, and resolve queries with content and product development teams. Evaluate and incorporate learner and client feedback into revisions for materials.-Train new editors and assist in the development and implementation of onboarding documentation, processes, and procedures. Act as a mentor to new editors and provide coaching and professional development opportunities.-Research and remain current with trends in the editorial profession, including supportive technology.
