Stories Of: Women was a female-identified Vulnerability Variety Show that explored our undiscussed emotions through storytelling, live music, comedy, and poetry. Our roster included NYTs best selling authors, Grammy nominees, award winning journalists, and youth poets; each of whom we welcomed to our stage to explore the messy, painful, beautiful brilliance of being a woman. Our bi-coastal events partnered with nationally recognized non-profit organizations including Planned Parenthood, the LA County Department of Mental Health, and Peace Over Violence. Our performers included Roxane Gay (NYTs Best Selling Author of Bad Feminist), Ziwe Fumidoh (Showtime’s host of the hit show Ziwe), Shirley Manson (Front Woman of Grammy nominated band Garbage), and Alexandra Billings (Trans Activist and Actress).

Dubbed “unapologetically empowered” by Refinery29, Us By Design was a charitable E-commerce Site that partnered notable people with non-profits to produce statement clothing and accessories that benefited the community. As the leader of Us By Design, Whitney managed a diverse team of product designers, marketers, and logistics and warehouse coordinators. During our 3 joyful years we partnered with over 100 different artists, influencers, activists, and non-profits including Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, NAMI, Homeboy Industries, and The Center For Reproductive Rights. Founder, Artist & Event Curator
Frustrated with the constant harassment that women are expected to silently endure, Whitney created, “I Didn’t Ask For This: A Lifetime of D*ck Pics,” a subversive and educational feminist festival and art gallery. After becoming a viral sensation with 15,000 attendees across multiple cities, the series received notoriety from continued international media attention. More specifically, Vice said the show “redefined female empowerment,” Playboy claimed we “kicked civility to the curb,” and Huffpost remarked that our “exposure of the normalization of misogyny was groundbreaking.” This interactive experience featured hundreds of unsolicited d*ck pics inside a full re-creation of a woman’s home to show that women can never truly escape the patriarchy. In addition to the home exhibit was artwork from 50+ artists, a full day of educational panels & sex-ed workshops, an uninhibited dance party, and a pop-up feminist marketplace, all curated by Whitney and her team.
Art Director
During her time at celebrity favorite fine-jeweler, Jacquie Aiche, Whitney acted as Art Director and Social Media Strategist. She worked closely with the founder to implement creative marketing campaigns and collaborations in line with brand directives, which more than doubled their social following and e-commerce sales. Whitney spearheaded a limited edition collection with Rihanna and The Fenty team, and produced dozens of high-profile campaigns featuring top models: Emily Ratajowski, Behati Prinsloo, and Rocky Barnes. She coordinated directly with the heads of the PR department, Sales team, and Design team to ensure brand consistency and aesthetic cohesion across all channels. As well as overseeing all marketing materials (email, social, e-commerce, lookbook, wholesale, graphics, etc.).
