• Led software engineering team of 6 engineers and monitored outsourced development projects• Designed and implemented a brand new agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based on Scrum that enabled us to ship features faster through continuous deployment, be more flexible with requirements (as user stories) and promote closer interaction between product owners and software engineers• Deployed agile management platform after evaluating multiple solutions such as JIRA Agile, VersionOne and Pivotal Tracker, greatly improving progress visibility and release forecast accuracy• Coached our 2 Product Owners on backlog prioritization/grooming, user story creation, release planning, user acceptance testing and UX-oriented mockup design

• As Product Owner, wrote the full user requirement specification for a major version of our Electronic Document Management (EDM) software based on multiple cycles of user interviews, on-field observation, prototyping and feedback• Added Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and image processing capability to scanned documents in our EDM platform, eliminating the need to manually index documents and reducing the rescan rate of documents below quality thresholds• Evaluated and integrated third-party solutions for digital signatures and time stamping to grant nationwide legal validity to digital documents, allowing safe disposal of paper documents and providing a unique technological advantage in competitive scenarios• Mapped and redesigned all major user workflow processes related to our EDM product, leading to software changes that improved user efficiency by up to 20% for certain users
