About Will Brooks
First Class BSc Economics with Employment Experience Graduate from the University of Sheffield. Notable modules include Advanced Microeconomics, Health Economics, Behavioural Economics and Economics of Financial Institutions, alongside writing an undergraduate dissertation involving economic analysis, statistical analysis, economic research and use of Stata for Econometric modelling.Previously working at NHS England within Analysis & Insight for Finance - Payments. Providing analytical support on projects and products that supported the development of NHS payment policy. I have developed R, SQL and advanced Excel skills, as well as actively developing skills to use in Tableau. Studying Economics has massively improved my mathematical and analytical skills, and I have gained new skills such as using Stata and Excel when studying Econometrics in an applied group project. I am confident applying economic theory that I have learnt in applied scenarios, such as critical analysis of government policy decisions with microeconomic and macroeconomic modules.
