An experienced Head of Sixth Form and Teacher of Mathematics, I received the further appointment of Deputy Head (Sixth Form) in September 2019.Having worked at an independent day school in Exeter for 13 years, I moved to join the SMT at a boarding school in Somerset in 2016, where I successfully established the new post of Head of Sixth Form. I am committed to highlighting the diversity of opportunities available to ambitious pupils beyond Sixth Form and helping them to be in a strong position to reach their goals. Currently, I am working hard to gain a greater understanding of the exciting overseas university options and have recently supported pupils in making applications to leading colleges in the USA, alongside UK and Dutch universities.Alongside the Deputy Head role, I am a Teacher of Mathematics up to A Level, coach rugby and hockey teams, and work with the Army Section of the CCF. A keen traveller, I have led school expeditions to Peru, the Indian Himlayas and Vietnam, as well as sports tours to South Africa and Namibia for groups of 50 pupils and staff.
