The Influence Foundation is a nonprofit organization with the mission of advocating through journalism for rational and compassionate approaches to drug use, drug policy and human rights.The Influence Foundation launched Filter [www.filtermag.org], a daily news magazine, in September 2018. Filter features the work of investigative reporters, advocates, scientists and clinicians, and directly impacted voices. It is the leading dedicated venue for harm reduction journalism.

Work including online editorial development, project management, non-fiction book development and editing, novel and film script editing, and writing long-form reports. Clients have included the Drug Policy Alliance, Exponents, Inc, the Center for Optimal Living, private authors and publishing companies.My journalistic writing has appeared in publications including: The Nation, Pacific Standard, Salon, Matters of Substance, The Huffington Post, Raw Story and AlterNet.
