This promotes transparency and accountability, and allows residents to accurately judge the performance of the Council. In practice, this involves gathering, analysing and interpreting data and progress against agreed milestones, to evidence whether outcomes are being achieved by stakeholders, and managing a complex governance process within a political environment. I manage major projects within the Change and Technology service, ensuring that these projects are delivered to required standards of time, cost and quality. The main current programme I manage is a full-service re-design of the Council's services aligned to the prevention of homelessness, which concerns both operational process re-design elements and reviewing the effectiveness of the Council's strategic position. I lead on horizon scanning and support innovative projects, such as exploring the potential of data analytics to support prevention in Children's Social Care. I develop and maintain relationships with central government, key networks, elected members and external agencies.I was also awarded Council role model of the year in 2018. Show less
