In practice, this involves gathering, analysing and interpreting data and progress against agreed milestones, to evidence whether outcomes are being achieved by stakeholders, and managing a complex governance process within a political environment. I manage major projects within the Change and Technology service, ensuring that these projects are delivered to required standards of time, cost and quality. The main current programme I manage is a full-service re-design of the Council's services aligned to the prevention of homelessness, which concerns both operational process re-design elements and reviewing the effectiveness of the Council's strategic position. I lead on horizon scanning and support innovative projects, such as exploring the potential of data analytics to support prevention in Children's Social Care.
