Responsibilities included the management of the procurement, operations, warehousing, customer service and scheduling teams of Milgard Vinyl Extrusion a $90M extrusion Division of Milgard. Additional duties included the project management of the Friedman Frontier ERP system implementation, contract negotiation for material and services.

Federal Way, Wa

Responsibilities included the management of procurement, operations, warehousing and new product development teams of Baden Sports a $30M athletic ball manufacturer and distributor. During tenure at Baden an east coast warehouse facility was brought on line and the implementation of an ERP system was accomplished enabling reduced lead times, increased service levels and inventory turns.

Responsibilities included the management and development of the material function including purchasing, warehousing and inventory control for $35M division of The Lucks Company. Additional duties included the development of process and procedures of the supply chain organization, cost reduction, strategic planning and contract negotiations.

Roy, Utah

Program Mgr, 4/96 thru 9/96, Position entailed project management in the Materials discipline, development Materials function at an acquired manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia. Inventory Control Mgr, 9/96 thru 05/97, developed an inventory control process for worldwide inventories of approximately $160M. This position included direct management of the Roy, Utah raw material and WIP process inventories ($50M). Product Cost Mgr., 5/97 thru 9/99, entailed the product cost reduction function at Iomega. Duties included developing short and long term cost reduction plans for retail and OEM products. A closed loop process was in use integrating the Strategic Sourcing function, Engineering and Marketing disciplines to ensure that current as well as long term costs were meeting Business Unit financial goals.

Elizabethtown, Ky

Industrial Engineering duties included work measurement and methods development, establishing work standards and costs, plant / work center layout for a JIT environment. MRP II Mfg Coordinator responsibilities included the management of a project to implement an MRP II Manufacturing System including vendor partnership certification programs, reduction of both WIP and raw inventories, reduction of lead times, and implementing DFT philosophies. Material Warehouse Manager responsibilities included the management of the day to day operations of the warehousing and shipping teams, production scheduleing, facility material handling and control function for a $30M facilty.
