Primary responsibilities include: Provide helpdesk support handling up to ten cases per day within the Editorial Department.Create, manage and deploy hard drive images for use in disk cloning with Symantec Ghost 11.0.1 for several different hardware configurations used in the Editorial Department. Notable projects:Reorganized Prepress Department to improve efficiency, eliminate redundant tasks, transfer ownership of necessary tasks to more appropriate departments, and improve communications between departments. Introduced a new policy for maintaining legacy hardware, saving the company tens of thousands of dollars in service contract fees.Created, tested, and maintained hard drive images for all hardware configurations used within the Editorial Department for use in disk-cloning with Symantec Ghost.Migrated users and groups for the entire company to Lotus Notes E-mail.
