Engineer high-speed technology network transport to deliver application functionality. Research, design, plan, develop and/or evaluate new, advanced network technologies by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design highly complex projects. • Certify, test and evaluate HW and SW vendor equipment for new network implementation, to ensure proper integration and cost saving for network application.• Develop and execute detailed Acceptance Test Plans to validate Transport/Optical architecture design. • Develop and execute detailed Acceptance Test Plan to validate Inter vendor compatibility relating to Transport, including but not limited to Ciena DWDM Platforms, Cisco DWDM Platforms/Routers, EKINOPS DWDM Platforms, Juniper Routers and Optical Metro devices.• Develop and execute detailed MOP for implementing new solutions and augmentations in Lab, Field Trials and Nationwide Deployments. • Lead the Network Readiness Testing for Transport solution, proof of concept and demonstration to internal customer. Solutions to enable and provision Long Haul Transport systems and Metro systems for Carrier Hotel applications. • Support pre-deployment testing for Sprint Transport solutions, including but not limited to Ethernet, Dark fiber, IP, DWDM, CWDM and Backhaul.• Support field integration trials for Sprint transport network and solutions including high speed 100/40/10G Transport to support Sprint IP Core/DCI/Mobile Backhaul.• Recognized expert in areas for Transport solutions-DWDM. Consulted by Sprint Network Development and various cross functional teams such as engineering/NTAC.• Develop/Document detailed network engineering drawings.• Worked primarily on Ciena 6500 platforms, Cisco MSTP 15454, Cisco M2-M6, Cisco NCS, EKINOPS• Extensive experience on DWDM, CWDM, TOADM/ROADM/AMP nodes, WSS, RAMAN Ciena circuit packs (SRA-ESAM-XLA), Control Plane (OTN), IPoDWDM, IPoOTN, OSRP, IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
