Responsible for day-to-day oversight of a geographically dispersed staff of 12 Site Leads (40 employees in total) located at military installations throughout the region with a permanent VA TAP presence, with an additional 50 itinerant sites where we provide services. Maintains all qualifications of a Benefits Briefer by facilitating in-person and virtual courses to executive level Servicemembers. - Ensure all staff are completing all event requirements within specific timelines, daily data entry and reporting, pre-trip requests, post trip reports, ordering and receipt confirmation of office supplies/classroom materials, etc. - Conduct outreach to establish a rapport with supported installation personnel/offices, VARO’s and other stakeholders in their area involved with transition and VA claims processes. - Mentor, train, and evaluate assigned VA Benefits Advisors and Site Leads. - Provide oversight and tracking of field personnel, briefing support, travel, schedules, and quality and administrative requirements to resolution. - Coordinate movement of resources and schedules in the execution of VA TAP services within the region to ensure no events are missed and quality standards are met. - Conduct site assessments and quality control visits to the installations within the region. Consolidate reporting of permanent site activities within the AOR. - Conduct operational site assessment visits to all installations Is within the assigned operational area to assess the site's compliance with the project policies and to assess Site Lead and Benefits Advisor proficiency. - Visit permanent and itinerant support locations as necessary and approved by the TED and CALIBRE Operations Lead. - Lead regular and frequent meetings with the Site Leads in order to facilitate a continual flow of information. - Anticipate potential risks and issues to minimize their impact to the mission and engage with the Area Lead as required.

Directly advancing the ongoing implementation; sustainment and enhancement of the Transition Assistance Program to ensure Service members and their families have the necessary tools and information to seamlessly transition into Veteran life.Duties and Responsibilities:• Support transition outreach initiatives to create synergy between the transition from military service and achieving successful outcomes.• Conduct and deliver VA Benefits and Services Briefings and Military Life Cycle modules either virtually via Adobe Connect or MS Teams to Transitioning Service Members (TSM) and their families. Topics include: Disability Benefits, Filing for Disability, Memorial Benefits, Survivor Benefits, VA Education Benefits, Rehabilitation Resources, Employment Resources, VA Pension, Life Insurance, VA Home Loan Guaranty, and VA Health Care. Also provide 1-1 assistance sessions for tailored support to TSM's, Veterans and their families. Provides planning, coordination, and execution of training programs. Delivers established curriculum, training tools, and ensuring course content and delivery methods follow established training objectives. And identifying possible course material revisions based on instructor and/or participant feedback or suggestions.Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide all services on site, which may include telecommunications as necessary to support the service member during business hours established by the facility.• Support transition outreach initiatives to create synergy between the transition from military service and achieving successful outcomes.• Conduct and deliver VA Benefits and Services Briefings, which includes modules on education, compensation, pension, vocational rehabilitation, home loan guaranty, insurance, burial benefits, health care and cemetery benefits as well as demonstrations of VA electronic tools providing service members additional information regarding their benefits and services available to them• VA Benefits and Services Briefings.• Facilitate the Career Exploration and Planning Track (CEPT), which includes instruction material on how to complete licensing, certifications, and other education endeavors after transition for service members, spouses, Veterans, and dependents interested in identifying civilian occupations, establishing career goals, and learning about credentialing and vocational training programs.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center:Provide oversight and leadership to four work-centers; Resuscitative Medicine, Emergency Medical Technician, Hospital Orientation and the Simulation Center, in direct support of the Military Training Network. Manage a team of approximately 30 personnel that provide "just in time" and scheduled training to privileged and non-privileged providers to obtain/maintain credentials and certifications to a staff of over 7,000 personnel that provide care to over one million beneficiaries per year.

Responsible for managing various types of correspondence, managing calendars to maximize Command leadership's schedules to ensure time and efforts are focused, and spent effectively. Validated and processed over 2,000 pieces of official correspondence, and authored complete revision of the Command Sailor of the Quarter/Sailor of the Year Program; validated 150 submission packages and coordinated quarterly/yearly boards and respective awards ceremonies.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center:Led 26 joint-service personnel that provided care to approximately 3,600 beneficiaries. Managed daily schedule/weekly/monthly schedules for the 24 hr ward. Responsible for the budget and material management of four million dollars od equipment and supplies. Defense Medical Human Resources System-internet time keeper for 103 staff members, responsible for validating over 6,600 hours of work.

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center:Led 13 joint-service personnel that provided care to approximately 50 beneficiaries. Managed daily schedule/weekly/monthly schedules for the 24 hr ward. Responsible for the budget and material management of 500K of equipment and supplies. Defense Medical Human Resources System-internet time keeper for 26 staff members, Standard Labor Data Collection and Distribution Application Timekeeper; tracked and submitted working hours and wages valued in excess of $600K.
