Growing up I always enjoyed going to school and learning. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher. I had some wonderful principals growing up. I was able to see first-hand how they impacted students' lives daily. In high school, I made the decision to continue my education after becoming a teacher to also get my administration degree. Those positive interactions made me see how worthy a principal's job is for the students not just the staff. I have worked in three districts and student taught in another district as an elementary teacher. I have learned something from each of them. I have learned patience, open and honest communication, to embrace the positive each day, and make sure every staff member feels valued. These are core skills to my leadership style. If these values sound compatible to your school, please reach out to me via wdeters1995@gmail.com. I look forward to talking to you soon!
