NAT engineered and manufactured novel combustion air-preheaters and other gas to gas heat ex-changers used primarily in industrial applications. The "OCAP"​ technology was created by Co-Founder Horia Dinulescu and his brother Mircea Dinulescu. We licensed technology "OCAP"​ worldwide, http://www.hatenney.com/oca-preheaters.html NAT went public (NASDAQ) in 1983, went private in 1985 when WTI crude oil prices collapsed from $65 to $25. We sold to a private investor in 1986.

Had some fun and made some money doing apartment and condominium brokerage, syndication, conversion and new construction. An excellent experience which showed my expertise to be more in marketing and less in bricks and mortar.

VAW-12 was a "Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron"​ with E-1B aircraft which played an important role in the "Cuban Missile Crisis" in the Fall of 1962. As Supply Officer I coordinated the planning and ordering of repair parts for our 36 aircraft. Let me confess, I played 1st base on the squadron baseball team.
