Bill Dougherty joined JMT in 2014 as a member of the Highways Group.

Bill Dougherty joined McCormick Taylor after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering. After spending two years in the Philadelphia office working on various PennDOT projects, he transferred to the Newark office and has since worked on numerous DelDOT projects. Bill is a Highway Engineer who takes the role of lead designer. His state-of-the-art knowledge of design software, such as AutoCAD, Microstation, and Inroads, has proven to be extremely valuable to the efficiency of the Delaware office. His responsibilities include conceptual design, conceptual analysis, geometric design, roadway 3-D modeling, overseeing the development of plans, creating plan packages, project management and coordination. Along with his technical aptitude, he has also taken an active role in the public involvement aspects of various projects including the development of public involvement materials and attending public workshops as a representative of our clients.
