Helped operate all daily and seasonal duties of a medium to large sized dairy farm based on NYS average livestock and acerage ownership. Operated grain elevator duties. Operated facility controls, tower dryer, unloading and loading trucks and railcars. Performed regular maintenance on all facility motors, conveyors, bins, legs, dryers, loader, and skid steer. Maintained quality control of all grain by manipulated bin temperatures with fans, performing test for falling numbers and vomitoxin. Grain testing for proper segregation based on type of commodity, test weights and moistures. Identify bugs, weather damaged, heat damaged, weeds and molds in grain.
