I was fortunate to have the opportunity to intern at Kite Magnetics, an exciting startup at the forefront of magnetic technology. My primary role involved supporting the fabrication and validation of the Aeroperm processing furnace, a critical project driving Kite's advancements in magnetic technology, particularly for their in-house-built electric motors. Learning from Dr. Richard Parsons and the skilled team at Kite has allowed me to gain valuable insights into the world of technology startups and how they operate, grow, and thrive in a competitive landscape.Key Responsibilities:• Supported engineers in the fabrication process of the Aeroperm processing furnace.• Contributed to validation procedures to ensure the furnace's optimal functionality.• Utilised Autodesk Fusion 360 for design and modelling tasks.
