During my time with Kalo, I worked on a number of engagements within the insolvency and restructuring sectors with a particular focus on accounting practices. This includes working with stakeholders of distressed entities across a range of industries including investment funds, property and mining services, while liaising with legal counsel to release assets and maximise returns for stakeholders. I have prepared and reviewed monthly management accounts for a number of entities, both in receivership and from receivership to their successful sale. I have also assisted in the management of numerous investment funds exposed to liquidity issues and fraud, with the primary aim of realising value for investors.

Previously employed within the Corporate Finance graduate programme with Deloitte Cork. The programme offers a diverse training experience across a range of services including Corporate Finance Advisory, Merger and Acquisition Transactions Services, and Reorganization Services.Over the course of the programme, I have gained experience in:• Carrying out acquisition analysis for potential M&A transactions;• Performing valuation analysis to advise a client on the value of their company;• Undertaking due diliegence work, both buy-side and sell-side, while analyzing the financial statements of a company;• Attending client meetings with colleagues, builidng relationships and developing communication skills;• Preparing a number of financial models for clients to assess the financial feasibility of proposed projects and potential fund raising;• Assisting clients to raise the necessary debt or equity finance required to fund projects; and• Advising companies in relation to undertaking Strategic Reviews and Independent Business Reviews of their operations, competitors and current market conditions.Also experienced working in the Audit department for a number of clients of the firm.

This involved supporting the debt advisory services team. This role entailed undertaking assignments on corporate and personal debt restructuring/refinancing:• Responsible for assisting in internal risk management administration.• Undertaking various other financial advisory assignments as required including work on valuations, mergers, acquisitions and disposals.• Participation in the Deloitte Global Project Challenge entitled 'Connecting the Green Dots: World Economic Forum Strategic Client Engagement'. This initiative is to create a pilot client program that embeds the WEF partnership as a key element to measurably impact business initiatives for OCEO client accounts.
