Lead Mechanical Engineer-In charge of the mechanical systems of the aft section of New Shepard. -Support launch operations. -Perform tests of mechanical components and review data with MATLAB.-Use Python to interact with controllers for acceptance tests. Mechanical Engeer-Create and update engineering drawings. -Design and structural analysis of components. -Trouble shoot engineering issues that arise during production.

-Conceptual design of an LDUUV. Performed drag buildup, component layout, and hull structure optimization.-Thermal analysis of a INS pressure vessel to be installed in an AUV. -Conceptual design of an ROV. Sized electric motors and performed CFD analysis with SolidWorks Flow Simulation.

-Use CATIA to create and update engineering drawings. -Worked with Prototypes team on new project builds to determine flaws in conceptual designs.- Used CNC, rapid prototype machine, and hand tools to turn conceptual designs into completed composite structures. - Working on developing standards to assist coordination between Manufacturing and Design teams.

- Worked on composites manufacturing process for both crush-core and wet lay-up. - Used CATIA to design and manufactured aluminum and wood tools to assist with production. - Coordinate with multiple groups to implement new product lines and ensure manufacturability.

As part of a D.O.E. project, researched the feasibility of using commercially available lithium battery packs to store/augment power from alternative energy sources for single homes.

Received a NASA Space Grant for the study of electric aircraft. Lead a group of students to determine the capabilities of electric general aviation aircraft, given the current state of technology.
