Then be able to fully explain the reason behind changes to staff, build them up on the new exciting tools to empower them to handle and flourish in any situation. Strong training skills, when I do something I do it the correct way every time. I expect the same from my team. Keeping things consistent to company standards and my own is key. I've worked every position in the restaurant industry and always put my all into each. Bussing tables, washing dishes, drive through, POS interactions, line cook, head cook ect, you will get my best. If I'm having a bad day, I leave that at the door when work starts. One negative attitude can flow through the entire staff. When I notice someone having one of these days I'll pull them aside and see what's going on. Every employee is different and all have their own ways of dealing and coping with what life throws at them. Knowing and understanding each individual and what they need is very important. If I need to talk with someone, it may not be the same way I would to a different staff member because they wouldn't respond well to that. Positive reinforcement is something I'm a big believer in. After a crazy shift, something as simple as telling your team "You guys did awesome tonight, thank you for your hard work" can go a long way. Individually telling someone they did great after working hard all day shows them you notice. Acknowledgment helps build a relationship and confidence. Very self motivated, always have been. I rented out my VHS tapes to the neighbors when I was 6. Lemonaid? Everyone does that. Worked many apps at their start, Favor, Instacart, RideAustin ect. To be productive there I had to be motivated to do it, and I was out there. Always striving for more, what else can I do, learn, help with. Im a sponge that will soak it in. New POS, no problem, Ctuit integration, bring it on. Onfleet? Got it. Bring it on, I'm ready.
