Recently Graduated Engineering Physics major (Augustana College, Spring 2024) with a passion for developing cutting-edge space instrumentation for NASA. Leveraged technical skills and research experience to contribute to groundbreaking projects. During my research experience at the MACRO Consortium, I designed and built an upgraded diffraction grating housing, optimizing its compatibility for astronomical research, which aligns with the development of high-performance instruments for space telescopes. I also participated in developing a compact Michelson interferometer setup, as well as creating a setup to image entangled photons using a CCD camera, further honing my skills in design and collaboration. I possess strong technical skills in 3D modeling (Autodesk Inventor) and programming languages like Python and C++, commonly used in space instrumentation projects. Beyond research, I actively contributed to the physics and engineering community at Augustana College. As President of the Physics and Engineering Society, I organized events and workshops, fostering collaboration and engagement.
