I have been working in the computer industry since 1976. I actually got my first experience with computers when a teletype terminal was installed in a sound proof booth at my high school (West). It was only connected to the university. My professional experience started with the US Navy as a Data Systems Tech working with mainframes and other associated peripherals. Moved on to an Air Force Satellite tracking station continuing with mainframes. Moved east to begin work on Quantico Marine Corp base on a war game simulation system and moved from mainframes to Workstations and PCs. After nine years I moved to the public schools and have been working on PCs and peripherals since 2003. Also in the schools I am wholly responsible for all in school closed circuit TV systems by Rauland (30 facilities). This includes Control servers, Digital Video Servers, TV Menu Servers as well as all other rack equipment (DVDs, VCRs, etc), Blonder Tongue, Pico Macom as well as all cabling throughout each facility. I'm also very involved with my church locally as the Technology Coordinator, handling all their PCs, networking, sound and AV systems. Recently installed and configured ip cameras and phone system throughout church campus. I am very people oriented and work great with others. However, I am just as capable of working alone when the task requires it.
