The planning board makes recommendations to the city manager and council on all matters affecting the physical development of the municipality. The board consists of five qualified electors. All members are appointed by the city council.

I lead and mentor a team of 22 highway technicians and 2 mechanics. Responsible for all highway maintenance activities on State & US Routes within the county. Schedule all crews and acquire all materials needed for highway maintenance activities. I am responsible for county safety, inventory, Force Account Estimates, data, budgets and all required documentation needed to perform our work. I have been an active team member at Odot by on Statewide & District wide projects And committees. Statewide - 2022 to present - taught highway tech classes for Districts 1, 2, 3, 7, 8 & 9. 2018 to present - Research Advisory Board Member. 2018 to 2020 - TCORE Activity Code subcommittee.2018 to 2019 - ODOT Research Project Leader - "Develop efficiencies and versatilities for roadway drainage maintenance" by utilizing LiDAR mapping of the ditches & equipment. 2018 - Biweekly Inspection App Development Committee. District wide - 2022 to present - Asset Management Committee.2022 to present - Maintenance Condition Rating (MCR) & Biweekly road inspection app subject matter expert (SME). 2014 to present - Pre-Discipline Hearing Officer.2014 to 2018 - Labor Management Committee. 2014 to 2015 - EIMS subject matter expert.
