I was employed by Clark County Water Reclamation District, in Las Vegas Nevada, for 30 years. CCWRD is the largest and most advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility in the State of Nevada. We were always on the cutting edge of technology meeting some of the strictest effluent standards in the Southwest. We discharged close to 100MGD of highly treated effluent into the drinking water supply for Arizona and California. I started as a entry level operator in 1981 worked up to be the Plant Manager in 2005. I was very active through my years with the County advancing through the operator positions as they came available, I took a short break and spent a year and a half as a laboratory technician to enhance my knowledge in the field, I spent seven years as a supervisor in operations, I spent four years as the process control specialist, a year and a half as a compliance and regulatory affairs administrator and the Plant Manager for my last six years ending in September 2011.
