Health Care Pathways Australia, an education agency, was established just two months before the onset of COVID-19, which immediately halted our plans to recruit international students for study in Australia. Despite this setback, we quickly pivoted by partnering with Acacia Education to deliver foundation skill set training for the Health and Community Care sector online during the pandemic, which proved to be a tremendous success. Once borders reopened, I resumed our original mission to bring students from the Philippines to Australia, setting up an office in BGC, Manila. However, this effort was soon challenged by changes in government policies surrounding international students. Once again, we adapted by addressing the outdated training methods that had led to poor-quality candidates for health care providers. Drawing on my experience in Aged Care and Disability Services, I developed new training resources that focused heavily on simulated training, and we built simulated training facilities in both Adelaide and Sydney. These initiatives were widely celebrated by students, trainers, and health care providers alike.The success of our office in BGC, Manila, and our ability to recruit top-tier staff for Health Care Pathways naturally led to the creation of Offshored. Initially serving close networks, Offshored has since evolved into a leading recruitment agency. By leveraging AI technology, we've streamlined the recruitment process, cutting hiring times from weeks to mere hours—delivering unmatched efficiency to our clients.
