Mr. Thum concentrates his practice on matters involving derivatives and has extensive experience in tailoring derivatives documentation to meet client needs across fixed income and equity derivatives products including prime brokerage. Clients including investment funds look to Mr. Thum for advice in developing and updating their derivatives documentation.

An active ISDA contributor, Mr. Thum has lectured on credit default swaps and has led multiple ISDA training workshops on credit derivatives documentation. Mr. Thum’s extensive experience in non-market risk issues including legal, credit and operational risk led to his invitation to speak at the 2007 International Securities Services Association AGM.
