As a Special Loans Analyst I collaborate inter-departmentally with the loan boarding and loan administration teams to ensure special loan data is complete and accurate when received upon loan transfer. I also review and analyze mortgage documents and prior servicer information to assist all departments in resolving complex loan type issues. Selected Responsibilities: • Manage data validation for new loans being boarded into MSP• Analyze ARM data in MSP to ensure loan is performing properly• Update and implement loan modification information in MSP• Implement SCRA status for eligible loans/borrowers in MSP and various other systems within the organization to comply with DOJ regulations• Obtain missing modification documentation from prior servicers that were not received upon transfer. Once received, update MSP to ensure accurate loan performance• Assist compliance department with targeted projects pertaining to special loans products to ensure investor and governmental compliance and mitigate any potential risk

Selected Responsibilities:• Work closely with Servicing Transfer and Records Management departments to ensure that collateral files/Loan Documents are received upon transfer.• Assist Servicing transfers team with any document related issues that may arise pre or post transfer.• Review Preliminary loan files to ensure that correct document mapping, file completeness, and format are present when a new seller comes on board. • Responsible for escalated document requests from various departments within servicing.• Work closely with third party sellers to obtain missing documents for GSE loan file audits, while maintaining tight deadlines for file submission to avoid repurchase demands for non-compliance.• Review and upload all documents loan files received from the aforementioned requests.• Maintain and update exception report for outstanding document requests.• Responsible for daily tasks submitted by various servicing departments to obtain missing documents not received upon servicing transfer.• Work closely with Document Custodians to ensure that submission and certification with GSE entities is complete. • Ensure that Servicing Rights are transferred to RoundPoint at custodians in order to obtain/ service documents.• Maintain Collateral inventory lists of documents kept at various Document Custodian locations.• Research public records when applicable to obtain copies of missing documents.• Develop in conjunction with Vice President of Loan Administration, internal document custody policies and procedures.• Maintain a working knowledge of CFPB Mortgage Servicing guidelines with respect to timeliness and accuracy regarding all servicing departments when fulfilling document requests.• Maintain strong knowledge of all internal policies/ guidelines regarding all aspects of servicing to ensure compliance.

Selected Responsibilities:• Perform Curative Collateral Review for Pools of Mortgage Loans prior to purchase by investor.• Extensive analysis of Collateral files to determine proper curative action.• Maintain and update Exception Reports.• Work with counterparties to obtain documents to cure collateral exceptions. • Review Mortgage Loan Documents for accuracy, and completeness. • Work with 3rd party vendors to record, correct, and create documents. • Prepare Assignments of Mortgage/ Deed of Trust, as well as creation of Rescissions, and Corrective Assignments.• Prepare Quit Claim Deeds.• QC Documents prepared by the Document Services team to ensure accuracy.• Provide detailed reports weekly to clients regarding the status of curative work of loans.• Work with asset managers, paralegals and attorneys to ensure loans progress through the foreclosure, short sale, Deed in Lieu process. • Ensure for clients that asset backed securities are in correct order before transaction deadline date. • Perform Due Diligence on loans; i.e.: Servicing Reviews, Assignment Chain Reviews, Data Scrapes. • Draft detailed reports to project future loan status, and make a recommendation as to whether the asset is expected to Perform, Non- Perform, Re-Perform in the future to ensure accurate pricing of the asset. • Perform analysis of initial trade report to determine critical exceptions that can impede foreclosure. • Work with Mortgage Servicers, and investors to facilitate a course of action to bring borrowers back to performing status if non-performing.• Report to Operations Manager and Collateral Manager.• Assist co-workers with complicated foreclosure, Title and Lien Issues to ensure a proper resolution.• Create Project Plans for curative work being done for collateral issues to ensure timely completion.
